The TG Hall Clubman Trophy

Awarded to the best Clubman (or Clubwoman) of the year. At the General Committee meeting in September of each year, the General Committee shall nominate worthy members. All Club members are to be notified of the Committee’s choice and may vote at the AGM for the candidate they consider should be awarded the Trophy.

The Dancey Trophy

Awarded to the Club member with the best attendance on Club Runs during the Club financial year. The attendance record is maintained by the Club Captain. A medal is also presented by the Club to the runner-up.

The Ladies Points Trophy

Awarded to the lady member with the best attendance on Club Runs, as per the Dancey Trophy. Not awarded if a lady member receives the Dancey Trophy.

The Jim Burnett Trophy

Awarded to the Junior Club member with the best attendance on Club Rides during the Club financial year. The attendance record is maintained by the Club Captain.

The Gibb Shield

Awarded to the Club member who is the winner of the Social Competition, a series of events held during the Club financial year as indicated on the Rides List. A medal is also presented by the Club to the runner-up and to the Junior with the highest points total as above (not being the winner).

The Gouda Trophy

Awarded for the best Overseas touring ride by a Club member in the financial year just finished. At the General Committee meeting in September of each year, the General Committee shall nominate worthy Club members. All Club members are to be notified of the Committee’s choice and may vote at the AGM for the candidate they consider should be awarded the Trophy.

The McLeod Trophy

Awarded for the best UK touring ride by a Club member in the financial year just finished. At the General Committee meeting in September of each year, the General Committee shall nominate worthy Club members. All Club members are to be notified of the Committee’s choice and may vote at the AGM for the candidate they consider should be awarded the Trophy.

Bruce’s Bonus

Awarded to the Club member with the most punctures on Club Rides during the Club financial year. The record of such incidents is maintained by the Club Captain.

The Golden Stabilizers

Awarded at the discretion of the Club speaker at the Annual Dinner & Prize Giving, this award is given to a rider who experienced a fall of a humourous nature during the year. To spare their embarrassment, recipients’ names are not formally recorded.

The Crank of the Year

Awarded at the discretion of the Club speaker at the Annual Dinner & Prize Giving, this award is given to a rider who experienced a mechanical incident of a humourous nature during the year. To spare their embarrassment, recipients’ names are not formally recorded.
