More riding opportunities coming in Wales

After the Club’s Brecon weekend, which featured some fantastic off road ridng in perfect conditions, we hear that thousands of miles of trails will be opened up for cycling and horse riding across Wales in a landmark reform of access laws, following years of campaigning by Cycling UK and OpenMTB. What happens next

We are affiliated to all the recognised cycling bodies, Racing and Tourist. We are interested in anything related to cycling - if we don't do it now, ask! We attend County Council cycle liaison meetings and our opinion is sought on cycling infrastructure in Gloucestershire. We publish a magazine (Spokespiece) 3 times per year and we highlight upcoming events and cycling issues on Facebook.

Gloucester City Cycling Club
Congratulations to Jeremy Addis for winning the 2025 Road Bike TT Club Championship. Jeremy completed 2 laps of the Elmore Loop (13.5 miles) in 32 minutes 18 seconds averaging over 25 mph.
