Eight riders at the Square, split into two groups, one group planning to climb Horsepools and Frocester and the other ‘faster’ group on a rolling route to North Nibley.
The pace on the faster ride was quite spicy and we arrived at Eastwood Garden Centre ahead of the Tempo ride. Due to the forecast we decided on a relatively short stop and the whole group headed north on the A38 together, turbo charged by the approaching storm front. We averaged about 25mph from Falfield to Frampton turn, where the group spilt into two, heading for home before the rain.
