Bubb’s Hill in the fog

This morning’s mystery rides went to Cirencester, although the precise destination was a mystery even to the ride leader after the booked cafe
had no space. After trying three other venues, the West Cornwall Pasty shop made us very welcome. After coffee, we tried to visit both the Carpenter’s arms in Miserden
and the Black Horse in Cranham, but found that there was “No room at the inn”, a greeting that is more appropriate to this date next month. However, the Royal William was very accommodating.

One of the funniest things I have seen on a bike was two members racing down Fiddlers Elbow, trying to get sling-shots off each other. It would not be fair to compare it to Bernal and Yates on the Col d’Iseran, but I wish I had had a go-pro to video it!
