With a mild and dry forecast, it was disapointing to find it raining as we headed up Stroud Road. Our Pluviophobe returned home from the Four Mile House, while the rest continued to find hte rain had stopped by Standish Church. It was a delight to be able to cross the A419 in Stonehouse safely, now the crossing has been reinsated.

A pleasant route through Coaley and Upper Cam led us back on familiar ground through Stinchcombe to Damery and Tortworth. Coffee and cake at Eastfield Garden Centre was enjoyable, but when we went outside, the rain had come back, and a decision was made to simply return on the A38.

White kit was not a good idea, and at times we could have been mistaken for riders from the Paris Roubaix.
