Doddie Weir Charity Ride

The Doddie Cup ride returns for 2023. Details are still being resolved, but Club members are invited to join this charity ride in memory of Doddie Weir and in aid of MND sufferers.
The ride will commence at GRFC with the ball handover at 11.45 from HRH Princess Ann to Rob Wainwright (former Scottish International back row player & British Lion) who will then depart for Cardiff. A circular route for the returning riders will be to the bridge and back. The DODDIE Cup 555 riders will carry on to Cardiff and the ball will then travel to Murrayfield for Saturday’s Six Nations Match. Details of that leg are here.
“My Name’5 Doddie Foundation” seeks to raise funds for research into the causes of Motor Neuron Disease and investigate potential cures, and, secondly, to make grants to sufferers of MND and enable them to live as fulfilled a life as possible.
