This season Nick Yarworth, Professional Cycling Coach, formerly Sport Development Manager at British Cycling and Gloucester City CC member, has kindly offered his expertise to Gloucester City CC in a coaching /helping role. He is willing to offer advice to members who think they could benefit from it. Please express any interest to the General Secretary (gcccsec@gmail.com), who will forward valid enquiries to Nick.
Furthermore, Nick has also offered to come along on some group rides to help and encourage riders as required. He is willing to see how it goes and find out what feedback the racing fraternity require. Again, approach should be through the General Secretary.
Nick’s partner, Nicky Juniper, has also raced at a high standard in Europe and offered her help to lady members on a similar basis. If there is enough interest we may with her help be able to start a ladies’ chain gang. As with Nick, any approach should be via the General Secretary.
