Nine members left King’s Square, unsure of the weather which was rather cool considering it’s only 2 weeks to midsummers day. A gusty south wind helped in the outward ride via Sandhurst and Wainlodes Hill, a hill you don’t seem to climb but offers a very fast descent.

The Club ate the last of the tea cakes and scones but all left well nourished.

Some had lunch at the ever welcoming Haw Bridge Inn and the others returned via Ashleworth to Gloucester.
