Our traditional holly ride saw yet another dull, damp day – but it refrained from actually raining, there was no wind and it was reasonably mild, so not all bad! Only two turned up in ‘fancy dress’ to secure the extra point towards the Dancy Trophy. The AA ride, consisting of the two in the fancy dress, went south through Kingsway, Quedgeley and around the Elmore circuit, Nass Lane, Matson and Upton St Leonards. They arrived at the Taylor’s house on Denmark Road after a surprising 24 miles ride to find the A ride already well established and tucking into the cakes and mulled wine. A big thank you to Helena and Malcolm for their hospitality. Five then continued to the Boat at Ashleworth via Haw Bridge for lunch. 45 miles covered.
