After over-indulgence on Christmas day, at least on my part, four set off on a Boxing Day Blast. Maisemore old road and lanes from Ashleworth to Haw Bridge were great with the tail-wind. The climb from Oridge Street to Upleadon was the only point at which the peleton fractured, but otherwise, we worked together on a fine winter morning.
The return from Newent to Taynton and Tibberton reminded me of the Newent Triathlon, although that is usually in wet autumn weather. An excellent morning out, rounded off with a coffee in Gloucester Quays.
