We need accredited marshals to support the road racing, and are seeking volunteers from the club membership and their partners. Our race course has been assessed by British Cycling as requiring nine accredited marshals, and without these marshals, the police will not let our races happen
British Cycling are organising a free one day training course to become an accredited marshal, and this will be on Saturday 21st Jan in Wootton Bassett.There is more information on Accredited Marshals on the BC website (here), and BC will give everyone who applies free Bronze membership (worth £22), free polo shirt, and on qualification, high viz kit. Gloucester City will also offer volunteers discounts off club kit
