Pete’s Pensioners to Lechlade Berkeley 19/11/15

The Famous Five arrived on time to ride to Lechlade to sample Francesco’s delights but it was not to be. The BBC Weather Forecast thwarted us again; nevertheless we battled through atrocious conditions but foreshortened the ride to breakfast at Berkeley where we had a full English and coffee for a fiver!!  Drowned rats does not describe the vision of the Famous Five. Notwithstanding the conditions we stopped at the Pilot for a couple of well earned Bob’s!! 55 or so miles in all, Brad and Ken’s new Garmins both behaved (more or less).
