Alastair Goldie was the overall winner with a time difference on both speeds of 2 min 02 seconds. His time on the 13mph loop was only 9 seconds too fast. Jim Anderson’s speed judgement was the most accurate on the slower, 9 mph, loop meaning that his cumulative time difference was only 7 seconds more than Alastair’s. Club Treasuruer Colin Edmonds took the last podium place. A very enjoyable contest was concluded with refreshments at the Royal Exchange.
