Here are the results for the final club event of the year, the hill climb held at Upon St. Leonards for the Ed Unsworth Trophy.
The more alert of you will no doubt spot the amazing time of guest rider from Cheltenham Pat Jones who rode a hybrid bike with platform pedals whilst wearing a baggy T shirt and shorts. It just proves you don’t need the whizz bang kit to go fast. Apparently he trains by doing intervals up and down Ham Hill and dislikes flat roads.
Dan Kelly broke his own course record of 7m 1s in again claiming the Ed Unsworth Trophy. It also cements his place at the top of the standings for the season long Paul Barnard trophy. the full results of which are posted separately.
