Remembrance Day

Thirteen met in Kings’ Square: sunshine and 3°C at 08:30. Bustling along through Tibberton to Birdwood, Soudley, and Parkend we paused for the Scouts’ and Guides’ church parade in Clearwell arriving at Clearwell Caves at 10:40 to find the café closed. Plan B took us to Coleford for a minute’s silence by the war memorial and then coffee and elevenses in Kaplan’s Café. Afterwards, the group split, some heading for home via Beechenhurst and Speech House and others staying out for a longer route home.
