Taking a well earned rest

The motor assisted ride was great and enjoyed by all six participants. We parked in Yatton at the Railway Sytion with its convenient cafe and cycled through Cheddar, up the Gorge, through Priddy and Wookey Hole to a good coffee stop just NE of Wells (The Old Cheese Yard). After coffee headed north and then West on lanes, crossing the Dam on Chew Magna resovoir.

George deserves special mention as he did not enter into spirit of the motor assisted nature and instead rode from Quedgely and back, but he was in attendance at coffee and pub, so Dancy points are in order.

Very hot conditions – the car’s themometer wasd reading 33 deg C when we finsihed the ride.
