Course U72 – Maisemore – 25 mile
On a cool, breezy, dark, but mostly dry summer evening seven brave racers tackled the mighty U72 course on the A417 to Ledbury and back. We had a brisk tailwind head out, so a headwind back.
Matt Hill made light of the conditions to go under the hour on a course that the National TTT participants described as ‘challenging’. His winning margin was nearly 4 minutes!
Nathan Monk achieved a personal best on the course, almost breaking 1:10 on his road. A great result considering he raced a Hardriders 50 mile at the weekend.
Matt further increased his lead in the Barnard Trophy. Whilst Tony Lake and Nathan Monk have qualified for the CEBAR competitions.
