Six riders enjoyed the New Year’s Day ride. The climb to Foston’s Ash was followed with a swift descent through Slad, enjoying the new smooth tarmac on the way into Stroud (route details here). Passing a traction engine in Stonehouse, we ended up in Costa Coffee on the Quedgeley Bypass. Not being a regular Costa customer, I was surprised by the swimming-pool sized coffee that appeared.
A very enjoyable morning out.
