The UK government has announced New National Restrictions from 5 November that will apply in England. These include the phrasing
“You must not leave or be outside of your home except for specific purposes. These include:
- to exercise outdoors or visit an outdoor public place – with the people you live with, with your support bubble or, when on your own, with 1 person from another household.”
We have therefore reluctantly cancelled all our group rides and hope to be able to resume them in December. Since riding with a companion is permitted, and can make the ride both more enjoyable and safer, we encourage members to sign up to TeamApp to arrange ride buddies and stay in touch with one another and the Club. Team App is a phone app, with associated web-page access (https://www.teamapp.com/). It is free to load and use. It is available from your phone App Store (Play store on Android). Look for Gloucester City CC as the team, and contact the Secretary to get enrolled.
