With numbers reduced due to football, we headed up Stroud Road to Edge, and down the poorly surfaced road through Whiteshiil. Finding the road through Middleyard closed, we diverted up Selsley, and regrouped on the common. After two big climbs in quick succession, the mood in the group was not for going to Falfield, so we diverted to Dursley for excellent coffee and cake outside in the sunshine.
The return by way of Cam Peak got us home in time for the last 30 minutes of the match. No spoilers here.
