Gloucestershire County Council is encouraging residents, workplaces, schools and community groups to get involved in Cycle September, a free, month-long celebration of biking. Cycle September kicks off at the beginning of the month and is all about helping more people discover the joy of riding. Whether it’s to work, to the shops or simply for fun, the challenge is open to everyone, regardless of experience or fitness level.
It’s easy to take part, as people are encouraged to ride throughout the month of September and all rides count, whether it’s a short trip to the shops, a daily commute or a weekend adventure. There are also local, national and industry leaderboards with great prizes to be won.
