On a pleasant evening a light prevailing SW wind gave a tailwind out and headwind back on the A38 course from Newport.to Slimbridge roundabout and back.Jeremy Addis put in a scorching ride for 21:08 (28.391mph) for first place overall and become the Club’s Open Champion at ten miles, with Tim Radley achieving a course best of 21:39 (27.714mph) for second.
Emma Biggs was the fastest female and is now the Women’s champion at this distance. Gerry McGarr was the fastest Road Bike.
