Three riders left the square on the A – Ride to Hayles Fruit Farm, one of which, Lizzie, was out for the first time with the club having moved from Bristol to Gloucester .
We took London Road out of town to Innsworth and through Down Hatherley, Staverton, Boddington, Piffs Elm, Treddington, Gotherington and onto Prescott. Prescott Hill Climb being full of retro cars on display which we took the opportunity of having a quick look at as we passed. On to Gretton, Greet and then left onto the Broadway Road before turning into the lane to Hayles Fruit Farm where refreshments were most welcome.
In total 46 miles covered, at a very leisurely pace with much chatter and joviality throughout.
