Eleven riders suffered the “not busy on a Sunday morning” A48, really the only way to the lanes to Rodley, A diversion was made to view the Severn and to fix a pedal which was coming adrift. The fix fortunately got the rider safely home. The new e-bike was admired and got people thinking.
More lanes took us to a crowd lined Northwood Green. When asked it transpired that a herd of cows was being walked through the village to a fresh field. They duly came and a diversion became necessary because of the mess on the road.
Coffee was taken at the Heritage Centre and eight continued via Glasshouse and Newent Woods to lunch at the George in Newent.
