In spite of absences for the Club Tour 6 intrepid riders left the Square for the B ride to Dursley. With a very brisk NE wind fast progress was made through Elmore, Longney and Frampton before a brief dalliance with the A38 to Cambridge. We took the right just after the George Hotel where George almost made a check on his namesake before taking the correct right.
Threading through the Lanes as if we were going to Berkeley we diverted to re-emerge on the A38 for a quick left and right onto the B road towards Dursley. We then took the right towards Stinchcombe where Karl had to do his best Remco Evanopoel impression by attacking the Hill though I think it was more down to being stuck in one gear!! A quick run down the main road took us into Dursley and the Bank for tea and cake outside.
4 of us took the lanes back via Cam, Frocester, Stonehouse and Haresfield with Karl continuing his Remco impression by having us lined out behind him into the headwind almost all the way back home, well Painswick Rd!!
52 miles covered- not sure of average speed but hey, great to be out
