When Simon got expelled from the organising committee for “La Vuelta a
Espana” for making the route too brutal, he decided that Gloucester City
B riders would be his victims. The first twenty miles of this morning’s ride to
Kemble were proof of the above statement, but all eleven riders “enjoyed”
the succession of climbs that eventually led through Sheepscombe to Park
Corner. After that, the nature of the ride changed as we meandered
through the scenic upland areas to coffee at Kemble Airfield, and on to
the fun Frocester descent.

An excellent ride, well led, keeping all eleven together in good weather.
