Sunny still weather saw five A and thirteen B riders leave the Square for Ross, together with a large sports ride heading for Slad. Adrian’s route took us out through Highleadon, skirting North of Newent to Much Marcle. There was some disgruntlement at the back of the peleton as we passed Weston’s without stopping, although in my opinion it was a little early to get re-acquainted with Old Rosie.
Mis-information had suggested that we were heading for “Hole-in-the-Wall”, and one rider did go that way. However, the rest crossed Hoarwithy Bridge to arrive at Ross.
Following coffee, there were three return rides, one to The Malswick Arms, one home via Walford and one via Kempley. All enjoyed their day out.
