All riders must start and finish at the official point and must pass Westgate Bridge, Gloucester, St John’s Bridge, Worcester and the Shire Hall, Hereford but may choose their own routes between these points. In conjunction with the above restrictions all riders must comply with CTT Regulations as to unpaced riding, clothing and machines. This event is a Competition for the Boakes Shield and the The Three Cities Roadman’s Shield Silver and Bronze achievement nmedals may be claimed for beating times listed on the Racing Standards page
The Boakes trophy for the winner is 100 years old this year, so this monument of the season deserves a big field. Please don’t worry about your time, as we have arrangements to ease the burden on the time-keeper.
The event is open to non-members for an additional charge of £1.50 to obtain day membership.
Events are subject to whatever Covid control measures are in force at the time. We require riders to bring with them: Pen, a means of contactless payment, a face mask, Front & Rear light (both mandatory), Safety pins (to attach race number), and Helmet (mandatory).
