Film Night. Pantani: The Accidental Death of a Cyclist

A special screening of Pantani: The Accidental Death of a Cyclist, at the Sherborne Cinema in Gloucester. The film will be introduced by ITV Tour de France commentator Matt Rendell, on whose book it is based – Matt will also answer questions after the screening.

The film – you’ll know – traces the decline of 1998 Tour de France champion Marco Pantani. At the point he won the Tour, Pantani was the highest-profile and most loved sports star in Italy – but within six years, he had died a tragic death.
