DESCRIPTION:A 10 mile TT on Corse/Staunton UC713 course\, qualifying for the season long Dan Knight and CEBAR competitions. Details of this and other TT courses can be found here \nWednesday Time Trials are open to anyone from any club or even if you are not in a cycling club and just want to try. Non cycling club members pay an extra small fee to cover insurance which is a national requirement. All are welcome. \nNOTE Due to Roadworks on the 10 course at Staunton at the moment tonight’s race will be on a modified course and the Dan Knight/CEBAR qualifying event will be rescheduled for 29th August. Please attend as normal and if the lights are still operating go further on to Staunton as we will run the shortened Pendock circuit (2 laps of 7m) starting further on in Staunton.

DESCRIPTION:Black Mountains Ride 1960 \nThe Club’s biggest ride of the year\, and one with years of tradition. We take the roads to Hay\, aiming to cover the fifty or so miles in three to four hours Then we take coffee and more at theThe Granary in Hay on Wye before heading over the Black Mountain and taking afternoon tea at Part y Seal in Grosmont or at the WI shop in Skenfrith. Traditionally the crossing of the Mountain is off road but as bikes have become lighter\, tyres narrower\, and the tracks more eroded (those pesky trail motor cycles) some riders nowadays choose to cross Gospel Pass by road or even simply return. Whatever your choice be prepared to cover more than a hundred miles during the course of the day\, so bring some spare food or gels and plenty to drink. \nFor details of ride classifications see here and for a list of similar events click on event tags below.
