SUMMARY:Severn Bridge ride via Tintern EARLY START
DESCRIPTION:The Club meets in Kings’ Square for a ride to take coffee at around eleven o’clock at the Old Station. The Club B ride will have an early departure but  the faster\, Sport\, ride will leave at the usual time of 9 a.m. Most riders will return to Gloucester to be home around one o’clock but there is an optional extension to take in a pub lunch at the Salutation Inn in Ham. \nDestinations are posted in advance and can be downloaded to your smart phone’s calendar (see buttons below) or as a pdf from here if you want a hard copy. All rides count to the Dancey Trophy. SUMMARY:Easter Training Ride Beckford Loop EARLY START
DESCRIPTION:The Club’s training ride meets in Kings’ Square. Today’s Training Ride is leaving at 8.30 this week because of Easter\, for those who want to get out earlier and enjoy a steady 3 hour rolling ride The route is below.\n\nTraining Rides are around three hours with a coffee stop at the end in or around Gloucester. Average Speed of about 19-21 mph. \nTraining Rides DO NOT follow Club Ride rules\, in that although they always regroup after a climb\, participants must be prepared to be dropped on the run in back to Gloucester over the last 5-10 miles\, if it speeds up at the end of the ride. They do not usually stop for coffee until the end of the ride. Participants need to be capable of 20+ mph bunch riding for at least 3 hours.
