SUMMARY:Sports ride CANCELLED due to pandemic control measures
DESCRIPTION:The distance is typically 50-60 miles non stop (post ride coffee optional). Pace is brisk\, typically averaging 20mph or more. Bring mudguards if road or weather is wet. \nNote that although this is race training the rules of the road still apply. Be courteous to other road users and ease the pace when going through built up areas. Remember: \n\nIt’s not a race\, it’s training\nAim for a maximum group size of no more than six\, and space groups two minutes or more apart\nEveryone should work together but ride through smoothly and ease off when you come off the front\nHave fun\, be safe\, and follow the Club’s Covid guidelines. This group will meet outside Costa Coffee in Kings Square\n\nDetails of any changes will be posted to the Facebook page

SUMMARY:A category ride to Colwall CANCELLED due to pandemic control measures
DESCRIPTION:Every Sunday the Club meets in Kings’ Square for a ride to take coffee at around eleven o’clock\, today at Cafe Morso. Most riders then return to Gloucester to be home around one o’clock but there is an optional extension to take in a pub lunch. Destinations are posted in advance and can be downloaded to your smart phone’s calendar (see buttons below) or as a pdf from here if you want a  hard copy. All rides count to the Dancey Trophy. Sign the attendance book or be noted as present at the coffee / lunch stop if you wish to compete. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNote that our rides are presently subject to various measures to control spread of the Coronavirus\, as listed here  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor details of ride classifications see here and for a list of similar events click on event tags below.
