DESCRIPTION:The distance is typically 50-60 miles non stop (post ride coffee optional). Pace is brisk\, typically averaging 20mph or more. Bring mudguards if road or weather is wet. The ride will head up Stanway Hill\, in groups of no more than six. Please download the route & note the Sports Ride will meet in Kings Square by Costa Coffee. DESCRIPTION:Every Sunday the Club meets in Kings’ Square for a ride to take coffee at around eleven o’clock\, today at the Upper Lock Cafe. Most riders then return to Gloucester to be home around one o’clock but there is an optional extension to take in a pub lunch. Rides usually start at nine o’clock but some rides in summer will begin earlier to take advantage of longer daylight\, better weather\, and to get a bit further from home. Destinations are posted in advance and can be downloaded to your smart phone’s calendar (see buttons below) or as a pdf from here if you want a  hard copy. All rides count to the Dancey Trophy. Sign the attendance book or be noted as present at the coffee / lunch stop if you wish to compete. \nNote that our rides are presently subject to various measures to control spread of the Coronavirus\, as listed here.
