DESCRIPTION:The distance is typically 55-60 miles non stop (post ride coffee optional). Pace is brisk\, typically averaging 20mph or more. Bring mudguards if road or weather is wet. \n\nSundays Sports is heading south to have a tail wind on the return. \nFrom now on\, to help everyone learn about group riding & get more involved\, we are going to nominate a ride leader each week to manage the Sunday rides. SUMMARY:A & B Category rides to Stroud - Cyclists' Carol Service
DESCRIPTION:The annual carol service for cyclists is organised by Stroud Valley CC and there will be a Gloucester City CC group riding to attend. The ride will commence as usual in Gloucester and stop in Stroud for coffee at around eleven o’clock in the Upper Lock Cafe before moving on to a buffet lunch at 1pm in St Matthews Church\, Cainscross\, before the 2pm service. Alternatively some will ride straight back to Gloucester after coffee to be home around one o’clock\, others may take lunch in Haresfield’s Beacon Hotel. \nIf you would like to know more about what to expect on our Sunday rides see here and for a list of events similar to this one click on event tags below.
