SUMMARY:Spring Tour
DESCRIPTION:FINAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR FRIDAY We shall be departing at 7.30am prompt on Friday from King’s Square plannning to stop for Brunch at Hereford and enjoy a late lunch at or near Builth Wells. There will be a small group driving to Rhayader with mountain bikes. They have offered to transport baggage to Rhayader and back. If you are going to take up this offer\, pack accordingly and get to Kings Square a few minutes early to load their car. \nOur traditional three year circuit sees us heading to Rhayader. It’s a great destination and is the furthest of the three\, the others being Brecon and Knighton. To bring a variation there is likely to be a motor assisted element on mountain bikes. Not e-bikes\, but driving up and then playing in the hills and forests. If this grabs your interest then please liaise with the vice captain or our new President.  If you’re going by bike (e-bikes welcome\, but you won’t get there on battery power alone unless carrying spares!) then we meet at Kings Square for a 7.30am departure. Coffee and lunch en route\, arriving Rhayader anytime between 4.30pm and 6pm. Settle in to your selected residence for the weekend and regroup somewhere in town for sustenance and refreshments. Saturday circuit ride is weather dependent\, but we generally include the reservoirs on the route. Quite spectacular.
