Despite damp conditions, three groups left King’s Square this morning. About a dozen sports riders went to Dursley, then up through Uley and down Frocester Hill. The sport riders were so keen on the rain that they filmed it. You can watch here. Thankfully enough of them had mudguards that the camera lens stayed dry and clear!

About half-a-dozen AA riders went out through Maisemore, over the Haw Bridge and back to Staverton.

Eight set off on the B ride to Chedworth via Daneway, with three deciding that it was too wet and turning back at Sapperton. The remaining five enjoyed the cakes and returned via Withington and Dowdeswell.

Perhaps this in an opportune moment to advertise that club rain jackets are on order! There may be spares – contact the GCCCkit@gmail.com to find out.
