CLUB TIME TRIAL TROPHIES
As you would expect with a club of this age, there are
numerous Time Trial trophies to win. Here are the details. Note that most trophies must be
claimed for - so it is important to know what is there for the taking!

The Limbrick Cup. Best 25.
To the fastest club rider in a 25 mile time trial. It must be claimed at the end of the
season.

The Halford Cup. Best 50.
This is for the fastest club rider in a 50 mile time trial. It must be claimed at the end
of the season.

A.G. Faers Memorial Cup. Best 100.
This goes to the Club member recording the fastest time at 100 miles time trial.

The Boakes Three Cities Shield.
To the first placed racer in this 82 mile time trial. See the Three

Dan Knight Trophy.
This one is for the winner in terms of points of the season-long club 10 mile time
trials designated as 'Dan Knight' tens. The highest placed schoolboy or schoolgirl
receives a medal. Refer to the Dan Knight page
for full details and results in 2001.

T.G. Hall Handicap Cup.
This goes to the highest placed in the Handicap of the T.G. Hall Time Trial run in
June. To win you have to be a member of The Gloucester or The Speedwell B.C. of
Birmingham.

2000: Not awarded - the event was not handicapped.

T.G.Hall Memorial Cup.
This trophy goes to the overall winner of the T.G. Hall time trial held in June.

Dr. W.T. Henry Trophy.
To the overall winner of the October 25.

The Judd Trophy. Senior Long
Distance B.A.R.
This goes to the winner of the Club Road Championship - it is in effect the Senior B.A.R.
Time Trial Champion. This is decided by the order of averages of best average speeds at
50miles, 100 miles and 12 hours, recorded in Club, Association or Open events. It must be
claimed at the end of the season.

The B.A.R. Runner-up Trophy.
Rules as per the Judd Trophy, but for the racer in second place. It must be claimed
at the end of the season.

Short Distance B.A.R. Trophy.
Defined by rule 27a, it is for the best results based on the order of averages of best
average speeds at two 25 mile and two 10 mile time trials. At least one 10 to be a Club
10. It must be claimed at the end of the season.

The Junior B.A.R. Trophy.
Defined by rule 28, it is for the best Junior based on the order of averages of best
average speeds at two 25 mile and two 10 mile time trials. All rides to be in Club events
or Club-promoted Open events. It must be claimed at the end of the season.

The Lewis Morris Memorial Trophy.
Junior 10.
This goes to the Junior with the fastest 10 mile time trial in the season. It must be
claimed at the end of the season.

The Ewart Smith Trophy.
Club 25.
For the fastest Club rider in Club 25 mile time trials.
2001: Richard Clements - 1.00.04.

1999: A tie between Andy Jarvis and Adrian Rowley.
Pete Reed Memorial Trophy. Vet's Standard short
distance.
This is presented to the fastest Veteran on Standard based on the order of averages of
best average speeds at two 25 mile and two 10 mile time trials. All events to be in
Gloucester City CC Club
events, Association or any Open events.

W.G. Gray Veteran's Standard Trophy.
This is awarded for the winner over 25, 50 and 100 mile time trials on Standard. It
must be claimed at the end of the season.

The Novices Trophy.
As defined by the RTTC (in effect the first year of racing). This is decided by
Committee, and is based on the best performance in the season.

The Prestbury Cancer Committee Perpetual
Trophy.
Introduced in 2000, this is the Ladies short distance BAR - 10, 25 and 50 miles.
