NATIONAL HILL CLIMB 17/11/2002 Cat and Fiddle, Macclesfield.
At the second attempt the event went ahead - in near-perfect
conditions. A little cool, but dry. We had 5 entries, all started and finished.
Paul Barnard was our first counter with 22.04 and 20th place
overall - 3rd vet. A brilliant ride.
George Unsworth came in with 22.38 for 26th place.
Ian Humble was next with 24.12, and Ed 24.29.
Ann Wooldridge completed the course with a splendid 27.29 to
take 1st Lady. Thus she is the
Ladies National Hill Climb Champion.
Also - Ann broke the Ladies course record by over 30 seconds.
Here are some photos of the event.
