A fairly strong wind from the SW produces a nice fast ride to the turn with a more challenging leg to the finish.
Yet another strong Gloucester contingent saw them retain the trophy despite a concerted effort by the Severn - but if only they had not insisted on holding their usual club event on the same day nearby.
Many thanks to all the helpers - Dr Hocter (Severn RC) ; John Godley, Ann and Toby Wooldridge (GCCC); Mike Halgarth and Ken Chandler (Dursley RC); Steve Downes (Bristol South CC). This is a good social event - with plenty of free tea and biscuits at the end. Not bad for just £2.00.
