DAN KNIGHT TIME TRIAL RESULTS 2000

At each designated Dan Knight 10, points (10, 8, 6, 4, 3, 2 & 1) are awarded to the first 7 fastest times plus points for the 7 best improvers on their Personal Bests (PBs on any course in the last 3 years). If you have never raced before you are given a time of 30 mins. If no-one improves, the points go to those who have gone back the least. The Dan Knight competition tends to favour the beginner as they should improve the most.
There are 6 Dan Knight 10s but only the best 4 count You MUST ride at least 4 events - or your score will not count in the final analysis.
The dates are : 12/4 ; 10/5 ; 7/6 ; 21/6 ; 12/7 ; 16/8.

6th and final event :  16/8/2000. CANCELLED due to 2 sets of traffic lights on road works. A shame for those planning a late attack on the overall positions. Not a nice night in any event for the final 10. NOTE - THOSE WHO TURNED UP OR WERE TOLD BUT WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE, GET 0 POINTS FOR THE EVENT, BUT IT COUNTS AS AN EVENT FOR THE 'MUST RIDE AT LEAST 4' RULE.

5th event - 12/7/2000.  A grey dull and breezy evening, dry. Movement of air from the south west - as usual.

4th event - 21/6/2000.  National Bike Week on The Longest Day and Ride. A strong southerly wind made for a horrible outward leg. Only the strong survived. Dry - just.
