DAN KNIGHT TIME TRIAL RESULTS 2005

At each designated Dan Knight 10, points (10, 8, 6, 4, 3, 2 & 1) are awarded to the first 7 fastest times plus points for the 7 best improvers on their Personal Bests (PBs on the club course). If you have never raced on this course before you are given a time of 30 mins. If there are less than 7 improvers, the points go to those who have gone back the least - so all points are awarded.  The Dan Knight competition tends to favour the beginner as they should improve the most.
There are 6 Dan Knight 10s but only the best 4 count : You MUST ride at least 4 events - or your score will not count in the final analysis.
The dates for 2005 are : 13/04 ; 11/05 ; 08/06 ; 22/06 ; 13/07 ; 17/08.

So Chris nipped in on the final event to take the overall prize - well done. It is clear that if you can time your PB's on the club course then the points will follow - and points mean prizes!

6th Dan Knight.  17/08/05.  A nice warm evening with a little breeze, not sure from where. The new surface through the village removed an excuse for lost time!  Well done to Chris for taking the win. Also to Steve for making it into the 'D' standard medal positions.

2nd Dan Knight (Haresfield). 11/05/05.  For a change the wind dropped before the start leaving fairly good conditions for the assembled riders. A good entry for the last outing on this course - all the remaining 10's will be run on the Corse course. Well done to George for getting inside 24 minutes on what is not a fast course.
